This opportunity will report to and work with the President & CEO and has a unique path, based on achievement, to take on a senior leadership role in the company. 

I-ology is a dynamic, boutique professional services company in Scottsdale, AZ seeking an experienced and proven Business Development Executive to drive sales of the company’s custom software design & development services and industry leading Digital Transformation consulting service line by actively seeking out prospects and pursuing sales opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you should be an inspired self-starter and have a track record of navigating a complex sales cycle, show the ability to build deep relationships with key decision makers and possess the ability to listen and solutions-sell. Ultimately, this position requires an individual with experience selling professional services that possesses drive, grit, determination and the ability to achieve sales targets. 

Job Summary

The Business Development Executive’s strategic responsibilities include overall new client acquisition and growing company sales. This role will be working closely with the CEO and team to refine go-to market strategy and expand community awareness of I-ology through strategic involvement in the community and professional organizations. Tactical responsibilities that will achieve success in this role include networking, leveraging your sphere of influence, generating leads, making sales calls, continuously updating our CRM database, and meeting set sales targets.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be located in the greater Phoenix metro area. Sales experience in this geographic market is preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Masters a plus. 
  • 5-10+ years of professional services sales experience and proven results.
  • 3+ years of documented success selling custom web development/application development services, technology consulting services or similar.
  • Experience driving executive level meetings and selling to the C-suite. 
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent phone and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in GSuite, and other web-based applications and tools.
  • Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with C-level executives.
Sales Responsibilities
  • Meeting quarterly sales targets and annual goals.
  • Developing sales strategies and collaborating regarding overall marketing plans.
  • Researching prospects and generating leads.
  • Preparing and sending quotes and proposals.
  • Managing the sales process.
  • Maintaining a CRM database.
  • Active involvement in community and applicable networking activities.
  • Contacting potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person.
